What does the activity include? after a full & thorough safety briefing your ex-military instructors will demonstrate a formation take-off and close formation manoeuvering before teaching you how to fly aerobaticsyourself. After you have flown some aerobatic manoeuvres in the military bulldog plane (a piston engined propeller-driven aircraft) you will be introduced to tailchasing. The flight is taylored to you and can be as wild or mild as you choose. Where does the experience take place? this experience is held at kemble airfield near cirencester in gloucestershire what should i wear? it is essential that you wear light flat shoes with good grips - trainers are ideal. Comfortable casual clothes are recommended it is also advisable to take a light jacket as it can be exposed on the airfield. Loose objects (including cameras) are not allowed in the aircraft cockpit. Valuables can either be safe kept in our crew room or left in your car. How long should i allow for this experience? your experience will last for approximately 3-4 hours when does the activity take place? flights operate on saturdays from the end of march to the beginning of november subject to availability. This is structured as a flying lesson and you will be taught to fly the aircraft yourself. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather then an alternative will be offered to you. Can i bring spectators? 2 spectators per participant are welcome and may be allowed to listen to the brief if there is enough space. Please be aware that spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside. Spectating is not recommended for young children as facilities are limited. What else do i need to know? the aerodrome has café facilities. Nearest train station is kemble. Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue. Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included. Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees.
